So, for starters: We encourage you to apply for the Featured Collector of the Month

Keep in mind when you do this to include the pictures of your Models AT THE SAME TIME.

And we thank you in advance for sharing your special Collection with the rest of us!

Now this is BREAKING NEWS

We have just opened our first “Breyer Communication Page!”

On this page you, the visitors to Breyer Horse Collectors, are able to share your thoughts, idea's, opinions as well as pictures of your Models! You can respond to another post as well as submit your own personal thoughts.

This is a wonderful way for Collectors to keep in touch, ask questions, offer idea's and build friendships. Just a thought, but isn't this kind of how Face Book and My Space started out? Hmmmm

It is super easy to use and you do NOT have to be a computer wizard to take part.

For this very first Communication page we have selected discussions on Vintage Models. There seems to be many different opinions on what makes a Vintage Breyer Model vintage. And they are one of the most popular for Collectors of all ages so it was a perfect fit.

Check out our first page here and read through the first post by Gina Grenier concerning what makes a Vintage Model, well, Vintage. Then let us know if you agree by submitting your thoughts along with your pictures of your very own Vintage Breyer Models. (Pictures are not required)

Tell us, what makes a breyer vintage!

All we ask is that your responses are supportive and encouraging.

One last thing: Keep an eye out on the site for upcoming surveys we will be doing. We have so many new people joining that we would like to hear from we feel it is the right time to do another survey. It is through these surveys as well as direct contact that we are able to provide just what you are looking for as well as needing.

So when you see surveys available on Breyer Horse Collectors; be sure to take a minute or two to fill it out. You can influence the information provided!

More Than Equine

In an effort to help Collectors build their assets during this economy; More Than Equine, a “sister site” to Breyer Horse Collectors will be offering a few of the different Models you see on the pages of Breyer Horse Collectors. We may list them on auction starting at $9.99 or we may list them in the store as a “buy it now”.

The More Than Equine Store

Included with each of them will be a letter hand signed by me verifying they are the Models listed on Breyer Horse Collectors as well as the page(s) they appear on. Also included in the letter will be other products these Models may have been used to produce such as coffee cups, greeting cards, etc… that are seen on Breyer Horse Collectors as well as our Cafe Press store

As this site grows in popularity as well as age, the value of these Models is sure to increase. So now is the time to get in on the ground floor and own a Model that will help you in the future.

Be watching www.morethanequine.com; listings will be starting in the next couple of weeks.

Happy Collecting!
