Vintage: More Than Just Age

Old Mold Appaloosa Proud Arabian Mare When you hear the term "vintage", an item 25 years old or older automatically comes to mind. Since it is now 2009, that would put the item made in or before 1985. However, when it comes to model horses (and model horse collectors), I think the word "vintage" means something a little different. When a die-hard collector thinks of a vintage model, the old 1950's-1960's models come to mind. The ones with the beautiful paint work and the high-luster gloss. The models that you stare at and just say, "WOW!". The ones that warm your heart with sweet memories of the past. Click here to read or post comments.
